A Leash Above CT is looking to bring on 2 individuals on an "as needed"/part time basis with the possibility to grow with the business. You must be local or willing and able to travel to Marlborough and East Hampton with reliable transportation as well as reliable cellphone service.

We are looking to hire for 2 positions:

Mid-Day Dog Walker

Overnight Sitter

​

The ideal candidate will:

​

  • Have 1+ years experience caring for and walking dogs

  • Have 1+ years experience caring for cats

  • Be able to lift 40+ lbs

  • Be willing to work with all size dogs (some dogs over 150lbs)

  • Be able to walk on all different terrain for more than 20 minutes

  • Work in all types of weather (Snow, Freezing Rain, 90 Degree days)

  • Be available on very short notice (within 24 hours)

  • Have reliable transportation

  • Have fantastic customer service skills and a positive attitude

  • Love animals

Bonus Qualities:

  • Will have a background in an animal based degree or be a current/previous pet sitter

  • Have previous experience with farm animals and small caged animals
